Why should you use natural bath and body products?

The two main reasons are that natural bath and body products are better for the environment and are better for you. Synthetic chemicals used in some products need to be tested on animals and can remain in the environment long after you have used them, leading to long term ecological damage. Many skin types can also have negative reactions to these synthetic additives, leading to skin irritation.

Are Organic bath and body products better?

The advantages of Organic bath and body products are twofold. Firstly, it removes the risk of any chemical residue that may have been left on equivalent non Organic ingredients touching your skin. Secondly, there is less environmental impact when the ingredients are grown. Organic farming practices ensure damaging pesticides and chemicals do not enter the ecosystem, leading to long term soil and animal impacts.

Is soap Vegan?

Not all soaps are Vegan. One of the key ingredients of soap is fatty acids. These have traditionally been derived from animals in the form of animal fat, however more recently plant based substitutes have been found. Often Olive or Coconut oils are used which can make these soaps suitable for Vegans. It is always best to look for a confirmation on the product listing though to be sure.
