Murdoch the penguin likes his fish grilled, with maybe a touch of dill. Nothing too fancy mind. He’s not pretentious.

This children’s toy is called Murdoch the Penguin. He's named after Howling Mad Murdoch from the 1980s American TV show The A Team. For those who don’t know the A Team were a group of ex US Army who were wrongly convicted of a crime during the Vietnam War. They fled to LA where as fugitives they worked together to fight oppression or injustice. It was brill. Mr T ‘I aint getting on no airplane’. Best tv theme song too.

Murdoch is made from a soft, black needlecord with a cotton spotty tummy. He is filled with hypo-allergenic toy stuffing. He’ll happily sit anywhere but no draughts... it’s not good for his constitution.

He stands at approx 30cm inc those floppy feet.

There is a matching hot water bottle too – please see separate listing.

Washing instructions: No washing machine for him - those feet would shrink up a storm, you can dab him with a damp cloth but beware it does tickle.

All of Terri's toys are hand-made on her trusty Bernina sewing machine from her studio at in Deptford, East London. She uses techniques such as appliqué, trapunto (makes great puffed-up hamster cheeks) and freehand machine embroidery in her work.
